1. Service Nature
Our services are strategic, time-based, and digital in nature. Once a project begins or a retainer period starts, significant time and resources are allocated toward research, planning, and implementation.
For that reason, all fees paid to Shape Communications LLC are non-refundable, except under the limited circumstances described below.
2. Cancellations Before Project Start
- If you wish to cancel a service before project commencement (i.e., before we begin research, onboarding, or campaign work), you may request a partial refund within 3 business days of payment.
- Refunds in such cases will be subject to a 10% processing fee to cover administrative and payment gateway costs.
3. Ongoing Retainer or Monthly Services
For recurring retainers (e.g., SEO management, content marketing, link building):
- You may cancel future billing with 15-day written notice before your next billing cycle.
- Any work already completed or in progress for the current cycle will be billed in full and is non-refundable.
4. One-Time or Fixed Projects
Due to the customized and consultative nature of one-time services (e.g., SEO audits, strategy planning, web optimization), no refunds will be issued once the project has started or deliverables have been shared.
5. Non-Delivery of Services
If we fail to deliver the agreed-upon service within the defined timeline and no work has been performed, a full refund may be issued upon mutual agreement and internal review.
6. Payment Disputes
Before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute, clients must contact us at info@shapebd.com to resolve the issue amicably. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension of all ongoing or future services.
7. Exceptions
Refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of Shape Communications LLC in cases of duplicate payments, technical billing errors, or verified service non-delivery.
8. Modifications
Shape Communications LLC reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent revision. Continued engagement after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
